What are the lease terms?
We offer individual leases running from early June through late May. Apartments are rented on an individual basis, and tenants are able to renew their lease for the following school year.
How do I apply for a lease?
You can apply online, or in person at our leasing office located at 17 Madbury Road. Feel free to emailing our office at leasing@madburyproperties.com or call 603-452-7030 to start the application process early.
How to make rent payments?
We make it easy to pay your rent. Most tenants use our online resident portal. Rent can also be paid by check or money order in person or through the mail at 17 Madbury Road. Rent is due on the 1st of each month and is considered late after the 4th.
What does rent include?
Your rent payment includes rent, heat, hot water, basic cable and internet.
What’s the advantage of an individual lease?
Each resident signs an individual lease that is co-signed by a parent or guardian over the age of 18. By signing an individual lease, you become responsible for your own rent, even if a roommate should end their lease early.
What are the parking options?
Dennison Road apartments are one of the few off-campus apartment complexes in the Downtown area that offers on-site parking available for purchase. Parking near Downtown Durham is scarce so notify us immediately if you’d like to rent a space.
What if you don’t have roommates lined up?

The Dennison Road Apartments bring the best of both worlds being less than a 5-minute walk from UNH and Downtown Durham. Along with its convenient location, 5 Dennison Road, our apartments also offer parking spots on-site at a first come first serve basis! Our leasing office for the Dennison Road Apartments is located at 17 Madbury Road on the ground level of Madbury Commons.
